There’s room in this conversation for someone else.
If you enjoy the community around learning with Busuu, you already have a reason to care about the people behind the progress. Language learning brings us into contact with other people's lives, questions and ambitions.
Nattive wants to turn paid private lessons into a source of funding for more access to teaching. We are inviting learners to help build that community.
Know what you are joining
Our mission is to fund 100,000 hours of live English teaching for learners in developing countries who cannot afford private language education.
Every paid Nattive lesson contributes toward Classroom, the free group English-course program. Contributions are pooled, and teaching happens when courses are funded and scheduled.
You can follow the work on the impact page. A target is a target; funded teaching and completed classes are different stages. We want that distinction to stay visible.

Make your first step useful to you
Choose a language and a conversation you want to improve. Look for a teacher who works with your level and offers times you can attend.
Check the full price, billing currency and booking conditions. If you have studied elsewhere, explain what you have covered using your own notes. Nattive does not import or transfer a Busuu subscription or learning record.
After the lesson, review the teaching experience. Was it useful? Did you know what to practice next? A mission should sit beside those questions rather than distract from them.
Participate at a pace that fits

You do not need to promise a year of lessons or bring a group of friends to count as part of the effort. Choose a paid lesson when it makes sense for your learning and budget.
We want people who value their own progress and believe more people should have the opportunity to learn. If that sounds familiar, there is room for your next conversation here.
